Hornet Cup 2 – B3rNO’s Masterful Display

Synopsis

We have had the pleasure to witness yet again some of the finest BFM players in DCS World going toe-to-toe in an attempt to claim the title of this second iteration of the Hornet Cup and to succeed to Razer, the man who won the maiden round.

All the matches were a feast for the eyes but there have been a few that really stood out. The biggest clash in my opinion has been Stuge and B3rNO crossing paths in the semi-final stage. Stuge,Top Gun’s double champion and record holder of the longest reign in the history of the SA Rankings versus B3rNO aka B3, one of the most iconic players in Falcon BMS. The two men had already met in round 2 of the first Hornet Cup where Stuge came out on top. This time around however, B3 was able to topple Stuge after a titanic effort where he showed resilience, calmness and a great deal of BFM experience. Stuge has not much much to regret, as he fought tooth and nail until the last second. Stuge had B3 in his crosshairs more than once but could not convert it to a kill as B3’s defensive skills, especially the timing of his jinks really shined. The BFM level of these two men was insanely close but B3 appeared to better deal with the pressure during key moments.
