THE DOJO’S BFM GRADING SYSTEM
A martial art grading system for your BFM milestones.
White Belt (Newcomer)
Fighters start off their air-to-air career as a white belt.
Blue Belt (Intermediate)
Win a white belt competition OR score a win over a blue belt player in a ranked match OR score at least 3 match wins.
Purple Belt (Advanced)
Win a blue belt competition OR score a win over a purple or brown belt player in a ranked match.
Brown Belt (Veteran)
Win a purple belt competition OR score a win over two brown or one black belt player in a ranked match.
1st Degree Black Belt (Expert)
– Defeat 2 different black belts in ranked matches.
– Score at least 10 wins.
– Finish 1 event in the top 10.
2nd Degree Black Belt (Elite)
– Achieve 1st degree Black Belt.
– Defeat 3 different black belts in ranked matches.
– Score at least 15 wins.
– Finish 1 event in the top 5.
3rd Degree Black Belt (Ace)
– Achieve 2nd degree Black Belt.
– Defeat 5 different black belts in ranked matches.
– Score at least 25 wins.
– Finish 2 events in the top 5.
4th Degree Black Belt (Professor)
– Achieve 3rd degree Black Belt.
– Defeat 7 different black belts in ranked matches.
– Score at least 35 wins.
– Finish 1 event in the top 3.
5th Degree Black Belt (Professor)
– Achieve 4th degree Black Belt.
– Defeat 7 different black belts in ranked matches.
– Score at least 50 wins.
– Finish 3 events in the top 3.
6th Degree Black Belt (Professor)
– Achieve 5th degree Black Belt.
– Defeat 7 different black belts in ranked matches.
– Score at least 70 wins.
– Finish 5 events in the top 3.
7th Degree Red/Black Belt (Master)
– Achieve 6th degree Black Belt.
– Defeat 10 different black belts in ranked matches.
– Score at least 100 wins.
– Win 1 event.
8th Degree Red/White Belt (Master)
– Achieve 7th degree Black Belt.
– Defeat 10 different black belts in ranked matches.
– Score at least 150 wins.
– Win 3 events.
9th Degree Red Belt (Grand Master)
– Achieve 8th degree Black Belt.
– Defeat 15 different black belts in ranked matches.
– Score at least 200 wins.
– Win 5 events.
10th Degree Red Belt (Grand Master)
– Achieve 9th degree Black Belt.
– Defeat 15 different black belts in ranked matches.
– Score at least 300 wins.
– Win 10 events.
