Fighter Sweep, by definition, means to clear enemy fighters from an airspace so that ground units can operate safely, therefore pulling back from this airspace before doing so could mean a mission failure.

The update below is a simple mean to prevent possible scenarios that could deny a team a legitimate victory. For example, last survivor pulling back all the way to home base without landing in an attempt to force a tie, especially if enemy fighters have just enough fuel to hold the airspace before RTB and can not afford a chase beyond the combat bubble.

  • Entering the combat zone on time: All aircrafts MUST enter the combat zone within 15mn after takeoff. Entering combat zone means getting within 80km/49nm from Waypoint 1.
  • Holding the combat Zone: All aircrafts MUST stay within the disputed airspace as long as there is at least 1 bandit flying in this airspace. Any aircraft exiting this bubble (more than 80km/49nm away from waypoint1) BEFORE neutralizing all bandits will have to exit the server and will be considered neutralized (mission failure).
