51st PVO and NFI will meet tomorrow July 7th for the final battle.
Both teams were very convincing tonight with straight-round victories over the experienced Ukrainian pilots from UVAF.
51st lost 1 single round on their way to the final match and it was against NFI on the second round. The Su-27 gurus remain undefeated, displaying as of today a frightening 24-0 record since their inception in December 2007.
Despite a slow start, NFI kept improving throughout the competition, their last 2 victories were very impressive and the match lost against 51st on the 2nd round was a close one.
So, it’s a very interesting final match in perspective, opposing the team to beat to a very proficient F-15C squadron.
