Maverick is back to the DCS pilot rankings all guns blazing. The F-15 pilot from the 104th squadron has again managed to take the top spot in the DCS air-to-air pilot rankings after just 2 events since the start of the 2014 season.

It’s now the fifth time that Maverick leads the rankings and is now 2 wins away from becoming the all-time DCS pilot with most appearances as the top-ranked on the hall of fame list.

Another pilot from the same team, Mustang, has also done a brilliant job in his Su-25T by destroying most of the air-defense systems over Sochi. With 8 destroyed ground targets and a safe return to home base, Mustang has easily signed the best air-to-ground performance of the event.

Unfortunately, stability issues and fears over 1.2.10 version of DCS have caused the last battle between the red and blue team to be postponed. This will undoubtedly be one of the very anticipated battles in DCS history as it will oppose two powerhouses of DCS combat. Red team include many experienced pilots, mainly from the 51st squadron, known for their great cohesion, teamwork and discipline. As a reminder, 51st PVO are the champions of the last SATAC competition and definitely have a lot of experience when it comes to TvT battles in DCS.

The blue team have also a great roster composed of very talented pilots from the 104th squadron. They fly mainly the F-15C and are very proficient with it. Their very convincing win against the orange coalition is a clear indication that they are a force to be reckoned with.
